Why I Love Being A Mommy

So we just had Noah's 1 year pictures taken the other day and our photographer asked me and Trev how we liked being parents. We kinda just looked at each other and stumbled on words. Haha. It is hard to put into words how amazing it is to be a mom. It's exhausting and exciting and frustrating and funny.... It is just so many things and emotions. I have seriously learned so much not only about my sweet Noah, but about myself and Trevor too. I love love love watching Noah grow and learn. It makes me feel so amazing every time he smiles at me or laughs at himself. He has recently started walking and he gets so dang proud of himself... when I watch him my heart feels so big it might explode! I love his facial expressions and how stubborn he is. :) He knows what he wants and doesn't hesitate to let us know just how badly he wants it. I never knew how simple and incredible a love could be until I felt this BIG love for my son. His chubby thighs and his sweet little smile lights up my world. I love Noah so much it hurts. Being a mom brings so much JOY to my life and I am so grateful.

Noah's favorite things right now:
Reading. He love having books read to him so just reading them by himself. He just loves books.
The song I Love To See The Temple. He loves when I sing it to him before bed.
His fave bands are Arcade Fire, MGMT, and I think CeeLo Green. He and his daddy love watching youtube videos.
Sippy cups with straws.
Eating everything we eat. No more baby food for him.
Balloons. He got some balloons for his Bday and he LOVES them.
Playing peek-a-boo.
Walking.
Blowing kisses.

Well I'm sure that little list is missing things.. But that's a little bit about my favorite boy!
